Heatsink for Protecting Chips (Pack of 1)

Heatsink for Protecting Chips (Pack of 1)
Many old computers were designed using components that ran hot. After 30 years or more, this can put too much strain on already fragile chips.
A heatsink can prolong the lifespan of your machine, by protecting those components that are vulnerable to heat and so expensive to replace!

This heatsink is suitable for:
  • Sinclair ZX81 ULA
  • Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K Plus ULA (model with plastic keys)
  • Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K Plus "Toastrack" ULA
  • Commodore 16 or Plus/4 CPU (HIGHLY recommended)
  • Commodore 16 TED (HIGHLY recommended - not necessary on plus/4)
  • Please note the heatsink requires a thin layer of thermal adhesive paste to remain fixed to a chip. We recommend Thermal Adhesive by Arctic Alumina.

If you're looking to prolong life of your ZX Spectrum 16K/48K (Rubber Key model) please see our Refurbishment Service.
