Sadly, due to age, nearly all ZX Printers have had their belts fall apart as the material used has degraded over time rendering the printers useless.

This ZX Printer has been refurbished with a brand new precise copy of this belt which we have had professionally manufactured by experts in this field.

Simply connect it to the expansion slot of your Spectrum, ZX81 or ZX80 with 8K ROM and you can use Sinclair BASIC's LPRINT, LLIST and COPY commands (N.B. If you are not using a Spectrum, your machine's power supply must be at least 1200mA - ask us for more details).

In addition to fitting new belt we have also replaced the capacitors with high quality Vishay and Panasonic brand parts to ensure smooth operation.

The printer is supplied with a full roll of silver paper, with just the original Sinclair logo printed as the ZX Printer came originally in 1982 (see photo).
