The Commodore VIC-20 was Commodore's first entry into the personal micro computer market (the predecessing PET series being rather more business orientated).
This is a later model, with a DIN plug power supply like a Commodore 64 instead of a two pin plug as the earlier models had.
Features include: 1MHz 6502 CPU, VIC graphics and sound chip. Although The VIC-20 comes as standard with 5K of RAM, it is upgradable to a massive 64KB of RAM via external packs.
All electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with high quality Vishay caps to restore the system to original specifications.
The VIC chip which is susceptible to heat has been heatsinked to reduce thermal stress and keep it running smoothly.
Like with many of these machines, the unit has yellowed with age and the plastic clamps at the rear have broken off which makes it an ideal choice for a workhorse VIC-20 computer.
The Commodore Vic-20 has been tested with datasettes and disk drives, to make sure it's fully working.
If you require a power supply, please ask otherwise it won't be included.
