Programming The BBC Micro

Programming The BBC Micro
This book has been written for the user of the BBC Micro. It concentrates on the programming and application of the machine, assuming little or no knowledge on the reader's part.
Early chapters introduce some practical points on programming the micro - functions, subroutines, procedures, program development and program libraries, etc.
Following chapters cover features of BBC BASIC as applied to graphics, words (string variables and operations on them), numbers (mathematical functions, random numbers, trig. functions, etc.), and the machine's sound facility.
Later chapters cover slightly more advanced topics - machine code, hex, assembly language programming, interfacing and file handling. The final chapter delves into the hardware, and appendices list the hardware specification, error codes, ASCII codes and the 6502 instruction set.
